Marchant-Holliday is an independent, residential Special School, for boys aged from 5 to 13 with many years’ experience of the successful education and care of boys who are experiencing SEBD and have other specific learning difficulties associated with learning delays or underachievement. These include Dyslexia, Dyspraxia, ASD, ADD, ADHD, ODD, OCD, PDD and mild auditory, visual and physical disabilities. The school is set in beautiful surroundings close to Wincanton in Somerset and is easily accessible by road and rail.
Pupils are referred to us by Local Authorities and Social Services Departments across the South of England. The majority of our boys board fortnightly, but some board weekly and we have a number of day places; we are flexible in our provision. We are prepared to take short term and crisis placements and can take emergency referrals.
The school is approved by the Department for Children, Schools and Families and the proprietary company is a registered charity.
Contact us if you would like to know more or to visit the school.
